What qualifications/experience do your Maids have?
We realise that trust is important to all of our clients. That’s why all of our Mummy’s Maids are experienced and capable individuals. Each maid undergoes an intensive recruitment process including a face to face interview, enhanced CRB check and reference check.
Mummy’s Maid ensures that all the CRB’s are up to date and these are valid for three years. This entire process allows us to gain a greater understanding of the maid’s character and past experiences as well as giving our clients the reassurance they need. Qualifications vary from maid to maid.
What is the minimum amount of time I can purchase?
When you have decided to use our service you will need to purchase a minimum of 2 hours. If you are purchasing the childcare service for the first time we highly recommend for children under the age of 5 years of age that you add in the half an hour “Get to know you” introduction session which must be added onto the 2 hours
How much notice do I need to give?
Ideally we would prefer as much notice as possible, however we will do our utmost to fulfil your requirements.
What days do you work?
Our maids provide help and support Monday through to Friday. Timings can be discussed at time of booking. Should you require our service on another day the service maybe charged at a higher rate. Please note: We do not work Bank Holidays however if you require our service it will be charged at a higher rate.
Can I meet my maid beforehand?
Unfortunately this is not possible unless purchasing the introduction session .
What additional costs may there be?
You would be responsible for petrol costs at £0.40 pence per mile should you require your maid to run an errand, pick up children etc as well as any other costs incurred with running the errand such as parking. This will be paid directly to your maid on the day.
Do I need to provide my maid with anything?
Our maids will use the products and equipment that is currently in your home to ensure that they maintain your high standards and reduce allergy risk to your newborn/children.
Payment
When you decide to purchase a service, payment will be required in advance for the first service which can be paid by debit or credit card. A surcharge of £4.50 will be charged on credit cards.
In the event of cancellation full refund will be paid provided we receive written notice 48 hours prior to commencement of the Service. If cancellation is given less than 24 hours before commencement of a service the full amount of the booking will be charged. In the unlikely event we cannot fulfil your service a full refund will be will be given.
Do you do gift certificates?
Yes, Mummy’s Maid gift certificates make wonderful presents for wives, daughters and friends. Our gift certificates are available in £10, £20 or £50 vouchers and are redeemable against any of our services.

If you would like to book our services please contact us on 0845 463 0075. If you wish to change or cancel your booking please contact our office between the hours of 8.00am -6.00pm. For emergencies we do have an answering service operating outside of these times.

About Mummy's maid Home Frozen Food
Where do your ingredients come from?
All our produce is free-range and we use local suppliers for all our meat and most of our vegetables. None of our products contain artificial flavours, colours or preservatives.
Are your meals organic?
No, although we may use organic ingredients we don’t solely use organic ingredients.
How do I re-heat the meals?
All our meals must be defrosted thoroughly before re-heating. Meals must be heated either by removing the lids and placing in the oven or by decanting into a hob or microwave proof dish and heated on a medium heat until piping hot throughout. Each dish has its own specific re-heating guidelines on the container.
How and when do you deliver?
We deliver our food baskets personally direct to your kitchen freezer. We will contact you to let you know the day and expected time of delivery.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes, please contact us to discuss your requirements and we will do our best to accommodate them.
Do your products contain nuts?
Although not all of our products contain nuts they are produced in a kitchen where nuts are used. If you have a nut allergy please talk to us before placing your order.
What is the delivery charge?
The delivery charge is £7.95 per delivery.
Is there a minimum order?
No, although the add-on’s cannot be purchased without also buying a meal basket.
How long will it take for my order to reach me?
We will try to deliver orders within one week of ordering. We deliver to certain areas on different days.
How does my order arrive?
Your order is delivered by one of our team, who will bring your food in and unpack it for you in your kitchen and put into your freezer if you wish.
Does it all need to go in the freezer?
All meals will come pre-frozen and need to be put in the freezer unless you plan on eating them within 24 hours.
Can I order for my whole family rather than
meals for 2?
Yes, if you contact us we can arrange to create baskets of meals for more than 2 people.
Can I amend any of the items in the basket?
Yes, baskets can be amended if required.
